Hello! My name is Martha Bern and I come from Toronto, Canada. I am not a native Canadian resident as I was born in Sydney, Australia, where I lived with my parents and my younger sister. My father is a military servant by profession, so, we had to move from one location to another quite often. When I was 9, we moved to Toronto and that’s where I live now.
When I have free time, I like doing lots of things. I am a sociable person and I have many friends. I adore spending time with them and we always have plenty of ideas on how to diversify our leisure time. When we stay in town, we frequently go for a walk in a park and just relax playing outdoor games like badminton or football, for example (yes, girls like that, too!). I would like to play badminton professionally, by the way. While I was in college, I won prizes in competitions, so, I’m a real fan of this sports game now.
We also adore picnics - can there be anything more pleasant and comforting than an opportunity to relax in the fresh air? when the weather is bad or it’s just cold outside, we go shopping or vivis each other and our relatives. I love my family a lot and I try spending more time with them, although, the pandemic situation has changed the habitual way of life for everyone.
Meanwhile, I have decided to renovate my home a bit - well, I have some free time now, so why not doing that? I have already chosen new kitchen equipment and new furnishings for my bedroom. These countries are so mysterious and unknown for me and I would really like to find out more about them. Hopefully, the situation will change for the better soon and I will have such an opportunity in the nearest future.
